Roz Cornejo is a recent graduate from University of California, Santa Barbara. Last June she graduated with a B.F.A acting degree and a B.A. in History. Roz is an actress currently based in Seattle, Washington. Her passions include acting, writing, devising, research and history. For more about her artistic views see her artist statement.
Roz has had a successful acting career at UCSB and hopes to maintain this work ethic as she moves forward. In the last 3 years she has studied under the notable professors Daniel Stein, Shirley Jo Finney, Risa Brainin Annie Torsiglieri, and Julie Fishell. Moving forward Roz plans to utilize both her degrees to create performance art and write plays dedicated to telling the untold stories of those silenced through oppression throughout history.
Roz uses the pronouns she/her. She is a proud mixed chick and identifies as equal parts Mexican and Black American.
